Mrs. E. Charmaine Hearns proudly serves as the Instructional Facilitator at Northaven Elementary. She brings more than 24 years of experience in elementary education with Memphis-Shelby County Schools, including 12 years at Shannon Elementary and 12 years at Northaven.
Mrs. Hearns holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and has served in numerous leadership roles, including Learning Coach, Mentor Teacher, Grade Chair, Professional Development Facilitator, and Instructional Leadership Team member. She is passionate about supporting teachers through collaboration, data-driven instruction, and professional learning to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
In recognition of her commitment to excellence, Mrs. Hearns was named Northaven Elementary's 2024 Teacher of the Year. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, reading, and exploring new restaurants. She is excited to continue serving the Northaven community and helping every Stinger learn, grow, and succeed.
